Application for Membership
Joining Yenda Producers Co-operative is a simple way to be part of something bigger for as little as $10. As a member, you become an owner of the Co-op, sharing in its success and having a real say in how it grows and supports the rural businesses and communities it serves across the Riverina and North East Victoria.
Why Join?
In most organisations, customers and shareholders are two separate groups whose interests often compete. A co-operative removes that tension entirely.
Share in the Returns
Yenda Producers has a strong history of giving back to its members. Rebates and dividends are paid based on the Co-op’s performance each year, meaning when the business does well, members benefit too. Between 2015 and 2017, members received a 2% rebate and a 5% dividend, returning more than $2.5 million to members over that period. In recent years, rebates have been consistently paid, with only one exception back in 2003 due to drought conditions.
Stronger Buying Power
As a member, you gain access to competitive pricing across a wide range of products. Yenda Producers holds direct accounts with all major fertiliser and chemical suppliers, so you can source what you need at prices that compete with, and often beat, national operators.
Equipment and Services When You Need Them
Through ongoing investment in trucks, spreaders and loaders, the Co-op provides services that are often too costly for individual operators to manage alone. You gain reliable access to the equipment and support your farm needs, improving efficiency without the burden of major capital investment.
Supporting Local Communities
Yenda Producers is proud to support the communities its members live and work in, through:
Donated services, such as fertiliser for local sporting grounds
Sponsorship of community groups and events
Donations to local fundraising efforts
When you become a member, you help strengthen and give back to your local area.

Download and complete the membership application form, then submit it in person at your nearest Yenda Producers branch. If you have any questions while filling it out, the team is happy to help.
Is there an ongoing or annual fee?
All co-operatives must have an active membership provision within their rules. The Yenda Producers Co-operative active membership provision is for all members to purchase goods and services to a minimum value of $100 per financial year. Any member who does not meet this requirement will receive a letter advising them of this. The letter will provide them a list of options to either maintain or cease membership.
What financial returns do members receive?
Rebates and dividends are paid according to the Co-op's performance each year, so members share in the result when the Co-op does well. Between 2015 and 2017, members received a 2% rebate and a 5% dividend. Rebates have been paid consistently year on year, with only one exception, in 2003, due to drought conditions.
Do members have a say in how the Co-op is run?
Yes. As a member you are an owner of the Co-op, with the opportunity to have your say at the Annual General Meeting with one vote per shareholder, regardless of their share size.
Full details are set out in the Co-operative Rules and Guidelines.
Can I still buy from Yenda Producers if I am not a member?
Yes. All customers are welcome at Yenda Producers. However, our advisory services are offered on a member-first basis.
